We offer online workshops to help students learn and gain skills in writing. Our workshops focus on navigating open learning resources relevant to the topic of study, such as literature reviews, reading and analysing relevant resources, critical thinking while reading, and writing essays, reports, and other assessments.
In some units of study, students are required to present as part of the assessment. Communication and presentation skills are highly sought-after competencies at the workplace. We offer online sessions about effective presentation skills which will help students to prepare for their presentations.
We provide online workshops for students on resume preparations and job interviews. Our support includes feedback on resumes related to the area of study and preparing for job interviews. Knowledge of employer needs and expectations and careers advice is also part of the workshop.
Timely academic advice is provided to all students by the friendly team. Academic advice and support include: study load and time management, recognition of prior learning, enrolments, fee payments, scholarships, learning barriers, special needs, complaints and grievances, and any other issues. Our friendly staff also provide advice on course-related information such as study patterns, assessment methods and submission, marking of assessments and other useful information.
